Redgum imports the finest Antipasto available in Australia. Redgum's Antipasto is sourced from two of the best Antipasto makers in Australia, Continental Cuisine Australia Pty Ltd and Sandhurst Fine Foods Co. Their products are of truly international standards.
But what is Antipasto? Literally it means 'before the meal' and is a traditional Italian appetizer. Antipasto has become popular because their flavour delights the senses and because it is widely accepted that vegetables and olive oil, two of the main ingredients, are very beneficial for health.
What is Antipasto?
Antipasto varies with the region of Italy and, indeed the family who makes them and with what is in season. But the range is extensive. Redgum has marinated olives, gourmet stuffed olives, mouthwatering semi sun dried tomatoes, a whole range of grilled vegetables which includes: zucchini, eggplant, artichokes, mushrooms and
more. Cheese stuffed fruits are a unique addition to a cheese board. The pestos and tapenades Redgum has are impossible to beat for their quality, flavour, and consistency. Roland Scherer is always on the lookout for new and exciting products that give chefs even more choices. Innovation is important and Redgum's suppliers are always working on new and exciting Antipasto.

Sandhurst Fine Foods Co.
Sandhurst Fine Foods was founded in 1989 by Vince and Geraldine Lubrano with their sons Ray and Mimmo. It was a dream that the family could develop a range of food exemplifying the foods that they had grown up with. They realized that their food revolved around the family and that traditional food is good. So who better than an Italian-Australian family to introduce Australians and International palates to
the foods of Campagna, Basilicata, Puglia, Calabria and Sicily. The Lubranos use traditional methods of production with the most up to date processing facilities. The company has grown from humble beginnings to be the biggest producer of Antipasto and Olives in Australia. But still you can be assured that their products have passed the Lubrano family taste test.
The name Sandhurst came from a pickling company that Vince Lubrano had previously bought from an English gentleman who had been trained at England's famous Sandhurst Military College.
