Roland Scherer is a Certified Master Chef who has worked around the world and has cooked for many famous people. He has 31 years experience in hotels, 10 years as executive chef. Roland has worked for the Intercontinental group in London, New York, Hawaii, Sydney, and Cambodia. In Singapore for The Shangri-La and The Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach, Florida, USA. Roland is greatly experienced in food preparation and food selection for the most discerning palates.
Roland's experience means that he knows exactly what chefs need from their suppliers and what they are looking for in salads whether it is antipasto or gourmet mixes. Elena Scherer has been with the company since its inception in 1989. In that time she has learnt massive amounts about the food supply business, what Singaporeans like in customer service and the functioning of the Singaporean market place. She is responsible for the continuous updating of the company's huge data base and also provides in-house training for Corporate customers’ staff about specialty items such as the cheeses Redgum carries. Like Roland, Elena is passionate about top quality food.
